Whether you’re lounging by the pool in summer or enjoying the warmth of the fireplace in winter, Sandy Bay Villa offers a comfortable and scenic retreat for your Cape Town getaway.
Seasonal Considerations
Cape Town’s winters (June–August) are cold, wet, and damp, which is characteristic of the region rather than an indication of mold. The home, like many in Cape Town, is not heavily insulated. To keep warm, we provide a fireplace in the lounge, small heaters in the rooms, and blankets, but we recommend:
Bringing warm clothing, including layers and rain gear.
Keeping the lounge fireplace burning (wood must be purchased separately).
Expecting to use heating regularly during your stay and topping it up as needed.
If you prefer warmer weather, the best time to visit is from November to March.
By booking during winter, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
